The Sisal Biomechanical Drainage System (SBDS) was developed through extensive research, field observation and practical experience in addressing the shortcomings of conventional drainage and soakaway systems — particularly in areas with poor soil permeability and challenging site conditions.

Our research identified the common causes of drainage failure: poor filtration efficiency, rapid clogging, environmental pollution, groundwater contamination, and reduced performance in waterlogged and clayey soils. The SBDS integrates mechanical filtration with natural biological treatment, combining carefully selected filtration media with engineered hydraulic flow to improve wastewater quality before discharge or infiltration — while reducing maintenance and extending the operational life of the drainage infrastructure.

The system is designed for wastewater from kitchens, bathrooms and laundry facilities, as well as treated septic-tank or biofil-toilet effluent — making it suitable for residential, commercial and institutional developments.
